Your baby’s first weeks pass quickly, but the feeling of them deserves to last. My relaxed newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your home, so you can simply be together while I capture the story of these first days. Your space. Your pace.

What to expect


Your newborn session is relaxed, unhurried and led by your baby. We'll take things at their pace, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and nappy changes along the way.



Sessions typically last 1.5–3 hours, allowing us to slow down and capture those beautiful little moments naturally, without feeling rushed.


Sessions are held mid-morning to make the most of the soft natural light in your home. I'll bring the wraps, blankets and little details we need, while your home provides the perfect backdrop for your family's photographs.

Your session fee secures your booking and covers your in-home newborn photography experience.


Your session fee includes: 

  • A relaxed, baby-led session lasting 1.5–3 hours
  • Wraps, blankets and little outfits for your baby
  • A selection of dresses for mum in simple, flattering neutral tones
  • Plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and nappy changes
  • A mix of baby portraits, family photographs and natural, in-between moments
  • Gentle guidance throughout, so you can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

Your session fee is separate from your digital image collection, which you’ll choose after viewing your gallery.

How does the process work?

1: Book your session


Get in touch through my contact form to enquire about a newborn session. Once we've confirmed your date, you'll receive a booking email with a link to pay your $199 session fee and a welcome guide to help you prepare.

2: Enjoy your session


I'll come to your home for a relaxed, baby-led newborn session. There's no need to have everything perfect , we'll take our time, follow your baby's lead and capture your family just as you are.


3. Choose your images


Around 3–4 weeks after your session, you'll receive a private online gallery of your edited photographs. Take your time choosing the image collection that's right for you, then enjoy downloading your favourites.

When should I book my newborn session?

It's best to enquire during pregnancy to help secure a spot around your due date. Most families choose to have their newborn photos taken around two weeks after birth, but beautiful photographs can be captured at any age.

What happens after I book?

You'll receive a welcome guide and a short questionnaire so I can get to know your family and what you're hoping for from your session. We'll also chat about outfits, ideas and any questions you have before the day.

What should we wear?

I recommend neutral, earthy tones, soft textures and comfortable clothing that allows you to move naturally. You’ll also have access to my client wardrobe, with a selection of dresses for mums. I'll help you work out what will look best together.

What time are newborn sessions?

Newborn sessions take place mid-morning, usually around 10am, to make the most of the natural light in your home. The session typically lasts 1.5 - 3 hours depending on how settled bub is.

When will we receive our photos?

Your edited gallery will be ready around 3–4 weeks after your session. You'll then be able to choose your preferred image collection.

Where do you photograph newborn sessions?

I'm based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains and offer relaxed, in-home newborn photography across Penrith, the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney. I come to you, so you can enjoy your session in the comfort of your own home.
