What to expect


Family sessions are all about connection, play, and capturing your family just as you are, with genuine smiles, cuddles, and a bit of chaos (the good kind!). We’ll shoot during that beautiful last hour of sunlight, when everything feels warm and golden.


At the beach, by the river, at the skatepark or in your own home, your session can take place anywhere your family feels most at ease. We'll choose a spot that suits your vibe!


Sessions run for around 1 hour and are designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of movement. No stiff posing or forced smiles. I’ll guide you gently throughout, so you can simply enjoy the moment together.

Step 1


The Session Fee


The session fee is the first step in securing your session date and covers the time spent during the photoshoot.


Your session fee also includes: 

  • A 1 hour photoshoot outdoors or at home
  • Access to my client wardrobe and styling help for the whole family
  • A detailed preparation guide so you feel completely ready before your session
  • My personal list of location options
  • Support and direction throughout the shoot to help you feel comfortable and confident
  • Games and prompts for the kids to keep them laughing, moving, and having fun!

Once I have received your session fee, your date is officially locked in and we are good to go!

Note: This fee is seperate to your digital image collection and is non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

How do I book?

So you are interested in booking a session? That's great! To get the ball rolling, head to the Contact page in the menu and fill out the enquiry form. Please feel free to include as many questions as you like. I will then be in contact with you to go over the details of your session and send you some more information for the day.

What comes after booking?

Before our session you will receive a short questionnaire for me to get to know you and your family a little better. We will discuss outfits, locations, time and any other preferences you have, and any questions will be answered so you can go into the experience relaxed and prepared.

What should we wear?

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! Neutral, earthy tones with movement and texture are always great. For ladies, I have a selection of dresses you are welcome to use from the client closet. Check out my blog page for more information.

What time will our session be?

Outdoor shoots take place during the "golden hour" which is the hour before sunset. This is when the sun is in just the right spot to give you those dreamy golden colours.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

The editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritise quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images.

- Family sessions are limited to immediate family only. Please contact me for information on extended family shoots.

- In the event of rain for outdoor sessions, I will be in contact the day before to reschedule.
